Work
I have worked as a commercial graphic designer for around 20 years, working for a provincial advertising agency before launching my own business. My company web site has a wide cross section of examples of my work but there have been a few projects from before this time which I have chosen to showcase here. Plastic Insulated Cables
The brief for the first two of these three images was to provide a successful and impactive follow up to an advertising campaign where the cable ends were modelled into small vignettes such as a desert oasis. The new concept was to draw attention to the new range of fibre optic cables and underline the existing copper cable range. My designs, realised by the whole studio team, was based around the Venician Masquerades. These images were very well received and used through a range of successful advertising materials. The third image based on a model created and built completely on my own was used to advertise a specific range of patch cables.

Web & Sand
Hard to believe nowadays there was once a time when the internet was young and the concept of web sites had to be sold to businesses which may have not even had IT capabilities. The client's brief was to design a brochure which would illustrate the benefits and functionality of the new technology. My concept and designs use cut thumb holes around the edge of each page, outlined by subheads which tie in to key phrases within the text, allowing readers to virtually follow hyperlinks in a printed brochure and navigate to the information required.
